College 2008:   Hit .297 with a homer and 12 RBIs.  Slugged .378 and had a .328 on base percentage.  His average was third highest on the team.  Started all but eight games for the Crimson.  Went 2 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored in Harvard’s 7-6 win over Northeastern on April 30th.  Had two hits, an RBI and a run in 4/27 win over Dartmouth.  Had four hits and 3 RBIs in loss to Yale on 4/13.  Pounded out four hits hits, including a double, and 3 RBIs in 4/19 double header sweep of Brown.  Highlight of the year came on March 22nd when he homered off of first team All-American pitcher Brian Matsuz in 7-2 loss to San Diego.

 

High School:   Starred for St. John’s Prep.  Was named to the all Eastern Massachusetts Academic Prep team by the Boston Herald.  Was named a Catholic Conference All-Star for three consecutive years; led the St. John’s Prep Eagles to a league title and the Division 1 North semifinals. Batted over .300 and was widely considered to be one of the top defensive shortstops in the state.   Captured MVP honors Capturing Most Valuable Player honors in the 30th annual Massachusetts Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game.  Represented Massachusetts in their prep all-star game against Connecticut.  Went 2 for 3 with a double and triple.  Was named a top player to watch by the Boston Herald in his junior year.  Member of the National Honor Society.  Played for the Ohio Warhawks in AAU during the summer of 2006
