College 2008: Hit .366 with 3 homers and 20 RBIs. Slugged .545 and had an on base percentage of .450. Made just one error in the field. Went 2 for 3 with a homer, double and 2 RBIs in MTSU’s 34-8 destruction of Arkansas Little Rock on 3/29. Went 2 for 4 with an RBI against La-Lafayette on 4/5. Went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles, a triple and 3 RBI in MTSU’s 14-7 win vs Belmont 4/9. Went 2 for 3 with a run and an RBI in an 11-1 rout of South Alabama on 4/27. Went 3 for 5 with 2 HRs and 5 RBIs in 20-5 rout of Mississippi State 5/6. Went 3 for 3 with a double and an RBI vs. WKY on 5/16.
Summer 2007: Played for the Union City Greyhounds of the KIT Summer League. Started 25 of team’s 28 games. Hit .282/.371/.397. Slugging percentage was over 50 points better than the team average. Two home runs tied for team lead; 19 runs scored led the team. Walked (11) nearly as often as he struck out (13.)
College 2007: Hit .167 with a homer and 6 RBIs in 42 at bats, including 7 starts. Slugged .262. Fielded all 28 of his chances cleanly. Went 1 for 1 with an RBI double 3/30 against La-Monroe. Hit pinch hit, 2-run homer against New Orleans 4/13. Had six putouts as starting centerfielder in MTSU’s 11-8 upset win over #1 ranked Vanderbilt 4/18
High School: Played for Overton High School, which reached the state finals his during his junior season. Batted .354 with 13 doubles and 38 RBIs along with 11 stolen bases in his junior campaign, playing mostly as a right fielder. Also lettered in football.
