College 2008:  Hit .403 with 10 homers and 42 RBIs in 119 at bats.  His average and .723 slugging percentage were both second best on team.  Also went 2-2 with an 8.64 ERA in five pitching appearances.  Starred at first base for nationally ranked, Division II West Virginia State.  Named Second Team Daktronics all North-Atlantic Region for his season and led the Yellow Jackets to a WVIAC conference title and College World Series bid.  Clobbered six homers and 29 RBIs in his first 75 at bats.  Went 2 for 3 with a HR on opening weekend win over West Liberty on 3/3.  Hit 2-run HR in 10-6 win over W Va Wesleyan on 4/8.  Had 4 hits in WVIAC Championship game on 5/11, helping West Va State clinch an automatic berth to the D II World Series.

College 2007:  Started as a two way player for Sussex County Community College.  Concluded his career with a 16-3 record, while striking out 163 in 143 innings. 

College 2006:  Standout on the pitching mound and as a hitter for Sussex County (NJ) C.C.  Threw a no-hitter in a 6-0 win over Salem CCC.  Struck out nine in seven innings in 5-2 defeat of Fergus Falls.  Struck out 8 and allowed only one earned run in six innings in 2-0 heartbreak loss to Delaware Tech.  Had two doubles versus Jefferson in Sussex’s 11th game of the year.

High School:   Attended Carmel High School and was an all-state selection.  Was also voted league MVP as a senior, when he didn’t strike out in 85 at bats.  Hit .485, with 7 homers and 59 RBIs in his career.

Personal: Over came a severe broken leg suffered in a January 2005 car accident.  The broken leg nearly ended his playing career and caused him to medical redshirt in 2005.
